Our Team

Graduating from USF in 2003 Derek had worked for multiple engineering firms.  In 2008, he created Apex Consulting Engineers and has expanded the company to two offices located on the West coast of Florida. While having a Florida License he also holds licenses in Texas as well. 

Mackenzie has been raised in south Florida her whole life. She graduated form Charlotte High school.  She enjoys spending time with her 4 dogs when she is not working. She has been in the drafting industry since 2021.

 Bryan was born and raised in Sarasota. He attended Sarasota High School. Bryan has been in the drafting industry since 2019 and is looking forward to helping you create and make your building dreams a reality! 

 Matt graduated high school in North Port Florida 2021. Matt is currently going for general AA degree. He has been drafting for over two years.  Matt is looking forward to working with you and making this experience as easy as possible. 

Sam attended high school in California. Sam has his associate's degree in Engineering Technology and is currently working towards his Bachelor's. Sam has been doing construction drafting since 2021 and looking forward to working with you and making this experience as easy as possible!
